The planets are not something separate from us.
Are we separate from air? from water? Is the earth that we walk on separate from us? No. Actually we are of the earth. Our bodies are 70-80% water just like the earth.
As one of my oldest teachers says, we come from the earth like apples come from the apple tree and oranges come from the orange tree.
The earth is the host, the support, the womb, the nourishment for the multiplicity of beings. Earth is the field where the rhythms of breathing beings play the life music. The earth produces people like trees produce fruit. ( Idea spoken by Alan Watts )
We are of the earth.
The earth is of the solar system
The solar system is of the sun.
The sun is of our galaxy.
Our galaxy is of something else.
Nested hierarchies ( an idea elucidated by Rupert Sheldrake ) are infinitely expanding and infinitely reducing, pulsing the music of the spheres.
The moon is not separate from us. Venus and all of the other solar system neighbors are not separate from us. They are farther away so there is less pull than earth’s field but we are involved with all of the solar system entities none the less. They are ever present qualitative participants in our daily activities and have been relatively ignored by our cultural rules & algorithms from the rational realm.
The fullness and the truth of our lives contain many realms of influence.
